Marathon Man 110!

Back in 2017, our good friend and local hero, Gary McKee completed the incredible feat of running 100 marathons in as many days, raising over £120,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support!

Nearly 4 years on, and the man is back at it, and stepping things up a gear. As of Monday, the 1st of February, Gary will be running a marathon every day for 110 days.

During his first challenge, we decided to brew up something special to celebrate this huge achievement, and so we are delighted to be able to revive our Marthon Man recipe in Gary’s honour once again!Brewing is complete, and Marathon Man is once again now available!

MM is a robust IPA that pops with notes of spicy orange and grapefruit. A beer that is designed to go the distance, it is full bodied, balanced, and a hardy 5.5%.

This time around, Gary is running on behalf of Macmillan again, and West Cumbria Hospice. Charities, and the people who rely on them, have been hit so hard by the pandemic. With this in mind, we have decided that profits from the sales of Marathon Man 110 will go to Macmillan Cancer Support. In these difficult times, we’re all looking for a way to spread a bit positivity. You can support Gary and these wonderful causes, by donating where you can (www.virginmoneygiving.com/GaryMcKee1), and raising a pint of Marathon Man! Cheers to that!
