Marathon Man Update!

McKee, Milestones, & Mini Kegs

Our pal Gary McKee has been hard at work since the 1st Feb, when he began his marathon challenge:  110 marathons in 110 days. He’s been joined by people throughout the community, each doing their bit in getting fit, raising awareness, and keeping McKee on his toes!

We’re delighted to have been able to contribute in our own way to Gary’s mission. Our Marathon Man 110 ale has so far raised £496! We want to thank everyone who has taken home a bottle, and helped contribute to Gary’s worthy charities, Macmillan Cancer Support Cumbria and West Cumbria Hospice.

As of this weekend, Marathon Man 110 will be available for a limited run in Mini Kegs, as well as bottles! Plus, if you’re ready to brave the elements come Monday 12th April, you can join us for a proper pint of Marathon Man, right here at The Ennerdale Tap. All proceeds from the beer will be donated to Gary’s cause!

If you haven’t yet, please consider donating what you can, or finding a way to get involved. So far Gary has raised over £50,000! We salute everyone who has contributed in whatever way, and can’t wait to see that grand total come May 21st. Cheers!
