This Friday we are taking part in the Cumbrian Traders Day which will be held between 10am and 5pm in St Nicholas’ Church Gardens, Whitehaven.
The fair is organised by Gerard Richardson of Richardson’s Wines and aims to draw positive attention to local businesses throughout Cumbria, particularly the Western part of the region.
The idea [of the fair] is part of a drive to promote the [Whitehaven] town centre and I guess its an offshoot of the successful local stall visits of the festivals.Gerard Richardson, Richardson’s Wines
We will be joined by 24 other stalls on the day, including ones from Grasmere Gingerbread, Mawbray cheese, Blessings Bakery, Hallsford Meats, Y-Tea, Zora Lou Organics plus many more.
Trevor, our chef, will be managing our stall and will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have. Our bottled ales as well as our beautifully hand wrapped real ale gift packs will also be available to buy (don’t forget its Fathers Day on Sunday!)
Hope to see you there!
